Physical description
Joined mahogany 'D'-shaped folding card table lined with green baize. The table legs are turned with tapered feet and are ebonised at the turnings. The table top is veneered with mahogany inlaid with satinwood crossbanding and stringing. The two rear legs hinge outwards from the centre in order to support the table top when opened. There is a paper trade label fixed to the underside of the table bearing the inscription 'T. Wilmott/ Upholder/ Cabinet maker and Undertaker/ No. 16/ John Street Oxford Street/ Imperial Dining Tables/ Sofa & Chair Beds on an improved Principle.'
