Physical description
Doulton stoneware vase with a brown glazed body with darker brown streaks. The inside neck of the vase is glazed blue to a depth of about 7.5 cm. It has an everted lip and a cylindrical neck which is decorated with a green-glazed band with applied blue leaf shapes, and a ring of applied stylised blue flowerheads below.
The body of the vase is ridged and decorated with applied green-glazed oval shapes, and narrows in a straight section to the base. The base is unglazed and has impressed Doulton marks and the decorator's mark, an H, scratched in.
