Large comb back Windsor arm chair with pierced central splats
splat in 2 parts; underarm turning UAT2 specific to Notts Windsors; upwardly tapered spindles; an unusually large example
Chair back: high comb back with 5 tapered turned spindles either side of central pierced splat; broad plain curved comb rail extends beyond spindles
Splat type: central pierced splat in 2 parts
Front legs: 3 ring turned legs with vase shaped feet
Back legs: 3 ring turned legs with vase shaped feet; legs shortened
Feet: vase shaped feet
Stretcher detail: curved 'crinoline' stretcher connected to back legs by 2 turned back supports
