Brief description

One of two 'Series 7' or 'Butterfly' stacking chair designed by Arne Jacobsen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen Ltd. in Denmark in c.1960. The chair seat and back are made from a single sheet of plywood faced with teak veneer and the chair stands on four tubular steel legs.

Physical description

Stacking chair with the seat and back made from a single piece of curved plywood faced with teak veneer. It has a nipped in waist and stands on four bent tubular steel legs. The feet caps are missing from this chair.
