Glazed earthenware plate with a scalloped rim and a transfer printed pattern in blue running around the border of scrolls and hanging floral garlands, with a design of bell shapes interspersed with flowerheads running around the outer rim.
The plate is marked on the base on the rim with the printed Rathbone factory mark of a swan, the head worn away, sitting on a banner enclosing the pattern name "Queen" and the initials T and V beneath.
