Brass fire tongs, the arms with turned shafts featuring three knops. There is a hinge at the bottom of the handle, and a steel pin through the upper shaft, indicating that the tongs were cast in two parts. There is no decoration on the handle above the hinge, and the handle is surmounted with a ball knop at the top.
