Brief description

Saucer from a tea service, made from porcelain with a white ground decorated with a grey check pattern, gilding, and a pink rose in the centre. The saucer was manufactured by William Hilditch and Sons or Hilditch and Hopwood in Stoke-on-Trent, and is thought to date from 1825-1840.
