A pair of scissor-action tongs, each arm consisting of a complex shaft comprising two curled sections, one small and one longer, either side of the central circlar pivot with concentric circle decoration. The short section terminates in a round handle with a stopper to prevent the handles touching. The opposite end terminates in a bowl for picking up the sugar. There are two marks on the inside of one of the bowls.
