Physical description
Circular brass almsdish with a central motif of two grape-carrying figures. These figures represent the two Canaan spies from the Old Testament story who carried a bunch of grapes on a pole back with them. The rim is decorated with two bands of border decoration; the inner band with pointed ovals and small circles, the outer band with pointed ovals alternating with diamonds and small circles. There are two small holes punched at the top of the dish. There are additional areas where holes have been worn in the almsdish due to cleaning as the sheet metal is fairly thin.
Content description
The central well of the dish is decorated with a scene showing two figures carrying a large bunch of grapes.
