Physical description
Wrought iron fire shovel from a set of fire tools. The bell-shaped blade of the shovel has pierced decoration, including a cartwheel. The handle has two knops with ridges on either side, one knop in the centre and the other towards the handle. There is a striation (or groove) running up the handle, which is surmounted by a stylised acorn-shaped finial. There is some wear on the blade.
