Mahogany chair with a galleried rectangular back with an arcaded and vertically railed back between reeded uprights and modern blue silk upholstery. It was probably manufactured in England and dates from c.1810.

Physical description

Mahogany side chair with a galleried rectangular back with an arcaded vertically railed back between reeded uprights. The chair has a panelled tablet on the top rail. It has a stuffed, bowed seat on turned and reeded forelegs. The seat has modern upholstery in blue silk.
