Physical description

Glazed porcelain ginger jar shaped vase and cover with a ridged body. The vase is decorated with flowering trees set in two petal shaped panels, and two floral designs painted in red on the white body surrounded by a red border with floral decoration. The body of the vase outside the reserved panels is painted blue with red and white flowers, and there is a band of geometric decoration in blue at the foot of the vase. The decoration on the domed cover matches that on the vase, with the finial painted blue.
