Stool from the 'Campus' range, with a self-assembly rectangular beech frame and a removable foam cushion upholstered in brown 'Hay' fabric. Manufactured in Wallingford by Lupton Morton Ltd. in 1968 and acquired from the original owner.

Physical description

Campus self-assembly rectangular stool of beech frame with a cushion upholstered in foam with Hay fabric in predominantly dark brown, green and beige flecked wool, manufactured by Lupton Morton Ltd, 1968. The beech frame has a clear lacquer finish, and has four circular uprights connected by a stretcher on each side. The separate cushion is supported on a large sheet of brown rubber, manufactured by Pirelli; the original was replaced in 1984.
