Physical description
Upholstered armchair, of square form, in Regency revival style. The chair has a mahogany frame, and the legs rest on castors. The body of the chair is upholstered in woven wool and mercerised cotton. The upholstery has a Tudor rose motif with intertwining leaves and foliage. The upholstery has a blue grey ground with sage green leaves and sandy yellow flowers. The edges of the chair are trimmed with blue and yellow twisted cotton cord. The underside of the seat is covered in rough canvas, nailed to the base of the chair.
