Physical description

'Prima' dining chair, with tall straight back and square seat, cream coloured, both padded and upholstered. Chair has a beech frame, which has been wrapped in foam, then upholstered in linen union (52% cotton and 48% linen). The seat rests upon four tapered wooden legs. The front two legs stand straight and vertical, whereas the rear legs curve outwards. The back rest for the chair gently curves away from the seat, in unison with the rear legs. Face on, the back rest narrows at the top, and broadens out towards the base. The underside of the seat is covered with a paper like material that is tinted to a soft beige colour, it is attached on all sides with metal staples.
