Physical description
Central section of Sony Jewel micro system, comprising the tuner, tape player, CD player and radio, housed in a casing of tall, rectangular box form. The front is slighty convex and covered with a brushed aluminium facia in which are the controls, display panel and tape deck. The CD player is accessed through a clear- glass, hinged lid on the top. Two locators of screw-head form on both sides of the unit allow the two speakers to be attached. This system was `highly recommended' in the `What Hi+Fi'awards 1998 for mini and micro systems.
