Physical description

This is a rectangular low coffee table made from teak-veneered mahogany, supported on a frame with four legs. The frame may be made from hickory. The legs are square in plan and taper towards the floor. The top has an applied lip or moulding of solid teak, which is chamfered and flared on its longest sides. A metal plate is screwed to the underside of the table top. The plate is dark metal printed with pale lettering 'GORDON RUSSELL / LIMITED / BROADWAY WORCS' and the company logo with the words 'RUSSELL OF BROADWAY' enclosed within a circle resting on a horizontal line.
