Physical description
Dish of rounded oval form with white ground, then hand decorated with red, yellow, black and blue streaks and daubs of colour underglaze. The centre has bolder stripes, with thinner lines spanning out over the edges of the dish. There is one horizontal black line through the centre of the dish's design. Inscription transfer printed on base 'MADE IN /RYE/ ENGLAND.' Dish stands on four rounded feet. Made of earthenware and glazed.
