This brass candlestick has a squared angular base, the corners of which are flattened and pinched outwards to create the petal base. It has a knopped stem, the top knop with lobes reflecting the shape of the base. The drip tray is shaped with six notched lobes to conform with the petal shape of the base. The candlestick has a push-up ejector. There are a series of markings in the base which were made during the casting.
