Camden tableware three branch candle holder, each branch with a narrow wooden tip at the base, of slender conical form gradually widening towards the top. The three holders are of different heights and are connected by three rods (each at a different height) so that they are arranged in a triangular shape, with a holder at each angle/corner. The wooden tip of the base of the middle-sized holder is charred. Part of 'Campden' tableware set.

Candlestick
Robert Welch, who designed this candlestick, visited Norway, Sweden and Denmark as a student in the early 1950s. He drew inspiration from the simple, functional designs he saw. His work in stainless steel for the company Old Hall found its way onto the dining tables of many of the middle classes.
