Glazed earthenware transfer-printed dish in the Crystal Palace pattern. The central design depicts crowds gathering around the Crystal Palace, includes a horse drawn carriage and military men on horseback. There are three vignettes of buildings surrounded by scrolling leaves on the rim. It is marked on the reverse with the transfer-printed manufacturer's name and the pattern mark, a Britannia figure with "Crystal Palace" written above her head.
