Earthenware circular ashtray with handpainted underglaze decoration of concentric bands of black grey, yellow, red with stylised flower, and black dots between petals. The black band runs closest to the edge of the ashtray with yellow next, then red, they have a scratched effect in white which runs across all three colours. The flower petals in the centre meet in the middle with blue lines which run around to form a small circle. Black dots punctuate the spaces between the petals.
