Salt-glazed stoneware beer jug with a pedestal foot, a single handle, and a moulded spout. The jug has a mask applied to the top of the neck, rosette decoration, and an applied moulded frieze with a representation of 'The Peasants' Wedding' around the body. The scene includes figures dancing, playing instruments, carrying food and wine and in the centre dining at a table. On one side is an erotic scene, and on the other a figure vomiting. The jug is inscribed above the frieze with the German phrase, 'DIE: BAVREN: HOCHZETT' ('The Peasants' Wedding') and 'WER: SEINE: KOP WHT: HALDEN: REIN: DER: LAS: DIE: BAVRSN: IRE: HOCHZEIT: ALLEINN'.
The jug is decorated with a representation of 'The Peasants' Wedding', which includes figures dancing, playing instruments, carrying food and wine and in the centre dining at a table. On one side is an erotic scene, and on the other a figure vomiting.
