Brief description
SP7 easychair with a chromed tubular steel frame and green velvet upholstered seat, back and arms, the upholstery dating from the 1930s but not original. Designed in 1932-1933 and manufactured by Pel in Oldbury near Birmingham from 1936.

Physical description
SP7 Easy chair, designed and manufactured by Pel, with chromium plated tubular steel frame, with green velvet upholstery but this is not the original covering when chair was first made. The velvet upholstery dates from the 1930, and is worn in places with patches of grey. There is a PEL sticker on the back stretcher adjoining the backlegs, it is a brown label with PEL picked out in interlinked gold letters.
