This 'Jason' stackable chair has a seat made from one sheet of bent beech-faced plywood, secured with three cross-headed screws on the base. The plywood is painted brown. The leg section is polished, turned and joined solid beech with four tapering, circular cross-section legs, the back pair of which splay more than the front pair. The legs are braced front to back and side to side. There is a plastic label with white lettering on a black background with the manufacturer’s name ‘Kandya’ located on the inside of the rear horizontal brace of the legs. It is rectangular with curved ends and is secured with a small metal nail at either end.
