Physical description

Side chair; 'BA 3' with aluminium frame. The seat and back have been upholstered in woven burgundy wool. Chair has curved back and four legs ending in rubber feet. The wool is woven with a design in of 4 cm vertical strips. The wool is worn away on the corners of the seat back. Inscription on the reverse of the seat frame is 'B 3 REGD DESIGN No 848794 MADE IN ENGLAND.' On the back legs is the inscription 'BA21B' and on the front legs 'BA22B.' Both are impressed inscriptions.
