Physical description

This stacking storage unit comprises three sections, a base unit with castors, an upper section and a top. The units are made from white (now slightly discoloured) ABS plastic. The base unit and upper section have a rectangular cut-out through which to access the storage space. The base unit has four castors which are metal and plastic and are inscribed ‘ORBIT / MADE IN ENGLAND / REG DES No 903735’. They also have ‘R’ for right underneath the word ORBIT. The underside of the base and upper units have the following inscription in a circle in the centre ‘MADE IN ITALY-Kartell-BINASCO (MILANO) DESIGNER ANNA CASTELLI-’. The upper section has a paper label partially attached which reads 'Made in Britain/from/Italian Tooling'. The base section has a mark where a similar label would have been attached.
