Physical description

This stacking storage unit comprises three sections, a base unit with castors, an upper section and a top. The units are made from white (now slightly discoloured) ABS plastic. The base unit and upper section have a rectangular cut-out through which to access the storage space. The upper unit has four threaded holes, one in each corner of the underside. The base unit has four castors which are metal and plastic and are inscribed ‘ORBIT / MADE IN ENGLAND / REG DES No 903735’. Three of the castors have ‘L’ for left and the front right hand one has ‘R’ for right (the castors face in opposing directions to reflect this). The underside of the base and upper units have the following inscription in a circle in the centre ‘MADE IN ITALY-Kartell-BINASCO (MILANO) DESIGNER ANNA CASTELLI-’.
