Physical description
The chair has a bent steel rod frame painted with white enamel with four legs terminating on ball feet. The rods are bent to suggest arms on either side with four ribs forming the back rest. It has a seat of bent plywood painted yellow which is held to the frame by four metal bolts (probably not original). The paint of the seat is very thick and does not appear to be original. 'GILTSPUR/NEC' (the name of the previous owner) is hand-written on the underside of the plywood seat. The object is incorrectly physically numbered 56/1976.
