Physical description

The top, frame and sides of this sideboard are made from solid walnut. The interior framing, vertical partitions and the back are made from oak. The dustboards are probably made from ply. The drawers are oak with walnut front veneered in Japanese chestnut. It is divided into three sections, the middle section having three drawers, each with two vertically aligned handles or carved chestnut. The left and right sections have a door with a vertically aligned carved chestnut handle at the side nearest to the drawer section. The drawers are screwed and glued and have dovetail joints. It stands on four feet.
